Three day seminar - Vail, Colorado

ARTFUL KNITTING INSPIRED BY NATURE

Laura Glazier has stayed in beautiful Vail, Colorado with fellow knitters and beaders who have participated in 3-Day Seminars. While there, the knitters experienced a gondola tour guided by Laura as they made their way to the top of Vail Mountain . At the summit, the knitters surveyed the area and were directed to witness the surrounding textures and colors that have inspired Laura for years. Over time, Laura has translated nature's offerings into patterned stitches using beads, multiples of textures, and dazzling applications of colors.

While surveying the area the group listened as Laura described her translation of nature, and how she has woven her ideas into tantalizing knitted pattern designs for fashion and interior design. Later, they descended the mountainous region and trekked along breathtaking scenic paths to observe nature's influences first hand.

It was Laura's desire to challenge and motivate the knitters. She enticed them to be inspired by nature's stimulating sites and to replicate their individual observations into unique knitted designs. Those present expressed that they were enlightened by the designer's expertise, and appreciated Laura for introducing them to the influence of nature's offerings.
